"The live orchestra really made the night!"
I really enjoyed the ballet, but the live orchestra was the highlight for me :) The music sounded so rich and full, and it made the whole performance feel extra special. Our seats were decent enough, though I do wish the intermission lines had moved a little faster!

"Parking took forever"
The transit part was fine overall, but parking was such a hassle. I ended up waiting way longer than I expected just to get a spot, which was frustrating

"Solid classes, just a little tricky to navigate"
My daughter spent about a year taking classes at Boston Ballet School, and overall it was a good experience. The teachers were kind and she definitely picked up a lot, which was great to see. The only downside was that scheduling and makeup classes weren’t always super clear, and a few classes felt full. I’d still say it’s a worthwhile program, especially if your child is really into ballet, but I do wish the admin side was a bit smoother

The ticket prices weren’t exactly cheap, but they felt reasonable for what we got. I wouldn’t say it was a bargain, but nothing felt overpriced either, so I was fine with it.

I felt like the tickets themselves were a good deal for what I was getting, so I was happy with the value overall. The only thing that bugged me was the extra fees at checkout, they made the final price feel a little higher than I expected.

"Not exactly built with parents in mind"
I tried using the site to plan a night out with my kids, it felt way more confusing than it needed to be. The family info was kind of buried, the seating and age rules weren’t clear, and after a while I started wondering if they were hiding the useful details on purpose. Maybe that’s dramatic, but it definitely didn’t feel parent-friendly. I ended up giving up and looking elsewhere.

"Customer service was frustrating"
I tried getting help with my tickets and just kept getting passed around from one person to another. The replies took a while too, and when they did come through, they felt kind of cold and unhelpful. I expected a bit more support, and that part was weird. Overall, not a great experience.

I tried booking tickets for a show, but the event page was confusing. The times, venue details, and what was actually included weren’t easy to find, so I kept clicking around just to figure out basic stuff.

Maybe the info is on there somewhere, but it really shouldn’t take that much digging. I got frustrated and ended up not buying the tickets

"Comfortable, but still a bit disappointing"
I went to see a show here and, to be fair, the venue itself was really comfortable. The seats had decent space, it didn’t feel too cramped, and getting around was easy. The bathrooms were clean too, which I always appreciate. I stayed relaxed the whole time, but i still left feeling a little disappointed because the overall experience just didn’t feel as memorable as I’d hoped

The tickets themselves were okay, but the checkout process was annoying. It felt slow enough that I started getting frustrated and wondering if something was going to go wrong before I could finish. Not the worst experience, but it definitely left me feeling irritated.

My snap judgment: the dancers were absolutely beautiful to watch. You could tell right away they had so much control and emotion in every move. The site itself was fine and easy enough to use, but it felt a little slow on my end

The costumes were amazing, and the stage sets really made the whole night feel special. I just wish the staff had been a little more attentive, because at a couple points I felt kind of brushed off when I asked for help.

"Absolutely No Doubt, This Show Was Awesome"
I seriously loved this show. The dancers were unbelievably good, the music hit so hard, and everything felt super polished from start to finish. I’m 100% convinced there’s no way someone could watch it and not have a great time. I’d go again in a heartbeat, no question.

"Loved the variety, and it felt worth it"
I’m usually careful about what shows I spend money on, but Boston Ballet really impressed me. The mix of dances was great, some pieces had that classic ballet feel, while others felt fresh and unexpected. I appreciated that it wasn’t just the same familiar lineup you see every season. A few performances actually surprised me in the best way. I’d definitely go again, and for me it’s an easy 5 stars.

"Seat view info felt a little misleading"
I used bostonballet.org to check the seats before buying tickets, and at first it seemed straightforward. But the seat view info was kind of hit or miss. Some sections gave me a decent idea of what to expect, while others were vague enough that I felt like I was filling in the blanks myself.
When we got there, the view wasn’t awful, but it definitely wasn’t quite what I thought I was getting from the seating chart. I wouldn’t say it ruined the night, but I did feel a bit misled. I’d probably still use the site again, but next time I’d double-check the seats somewhere else before buying.

"Refund process was about okay"
I had to exchange my tickets and it did work out, but the replies took around a little longer than I expected. The refund rules felt kind of strict too, so I’d definitely read them carefully before buying.
